We aim to use technology and renewable energy to deliver healthcare to the women and children of Southwestern Uganda.

Our Beginning

Energize Rural Health began in 2014 in an effort to improve healthcare in the Kabale area of western Uganda. After a 2014 assessment trip to the deparment Obstretrics and Gynecology & Pedicatrics University of Kabale—Medical Center it was found that roughly 250 women per 100,00 die of complications of child birth. Because of lack of personell and the need, ERH is working with the Universty of Kabale Medical school to provide training to healthcare providers of Kabale.

Our Mission

  • To introduce renewable energy as a major component of health care delivery.

  •  To work with other health care organizations to improve health care for mothers and children and institute electronic medical systems aimed at improvement of quality of medical care delivery, data management, and the education of health care professionals.
